Arundel and South Downs Constituency Labour Party Leadership Nomination Meeting Tuesday 2nd August 2016
Each Constituency Labour Party (CLP) is entitled to cast a supporting nomination for the position of Leader. Accordingly we have arranged for a meeting to take place on Tuesday 2nd August in Storrington Village Hall.
The Labour Party has issued clear guidelines (see note1 below) about who is eligible to attend and vote at the Nomination meeting. This meeting will be open to all those who were fully paid up members of the CLP on or before 12th January 2016. Unfortunately members who have joined since that date are not entitled to attend or vote at this meeting. Please do not attend if you joined the Labour Party after 12th January 2016.
There will be a membership check at the door so please bring your membership card and ID for verification. Those members who are showing as being in arrears from after the freeze date, will be able to participate in the meeting provided they pay the arrears at the commencement of the meeting, or provide proof that they have since paid the arrears to the national party.
