Hi, I’m Caroline Fife and I’m Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Arundel & South Downs.
I work as a Regional Organiser for a public sector union representing people across West Sussex. I’ve always fought for equality and decent standards.
It's clear from listening to local people they want change to improve their lives. I’m dedicated to making this happen.
As a working Mum, I know how important our schools are, yet class sizes are growing and headteachers are starved of cash. I, like many others, have volunteered to help develop children’s skills through Woodcraft Folk. However their core education desperately needs investment.
I’ve lived in the heart of the South Downs for 18 years. I want to ensure everyone has access to affordable homes and that renters have more rights. More reliable and affordable integrated bus and train services are essential for all.
I want to address low pay and enable everyone over 18 to earn £10 an hour.
I support a NATIONAL health service not a fragmented, semi-privatised one so I will lead debate about strengthening these services.
I’ll oppose any attempt to reinstate fox hunting or allow fracking that would industrialise this landscape and risk our health.
Finally, I do love the colour red – it’s strong and reliable and that sums me up.
