With just over a week to go until the EU Referendum vote, Arundel and South Downs Labour continues to urge all its members and supporters to Vote Remain.
Our branches have been holding street stalls in our towns and villages and delivering leaflets to get our message out. We have been promoting our activities on twitter and our Facebook page. Arundel and South Downs Euro Champion, Alwyn Dow, has also published three articles on our website our website. He has also had a letter published in the Chichester Observer newspaper last week, which is also published here: http://www.southdownslabour.com/eu_d_day_2016
Our Labour values of social justice and international solidarity mean that we believe that the people of Britain will be better off staying within the EU rather than leaving and acting alone. Together with other EU states we can not only work to protect workers rights, tackle climate change and ensure that global corporations pay their fair share of taxes but also to provide prosperity and security for our country.
Leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn says that we face a historic choice on June 23rd and despite his many criticisms of the EU he believes that we should remain in and make the case for progressive reform inside the European Union.
Please show your support by displaying a poster and of course voting to Remain on June 23rd.
