A vote for Caroline Fife, our Labour candidate for Arundel & South Downs, on June 8th is a vote to benefit the many rather than the few. The recent TV debates highlight the point perfectly.
Following the Leadership Special TV debates hosted by Channel 4 / Sky and BBC respectively, Jeremy Corbyn for the second time in less than a week looked assured and relaxed, providing compelling evidence that he and Labour have the answers to the challenges that face our country, whilst May looked weak, wobbly and evasive.
Jeremy Corbyn gave straight, honest answers to the audience. He spoke clearly, openly and passionately as he has done throughout the campaign, arguing the case for policies that benefit the majority of people, rather than the few. Jeremy showed us that he has the policies and character to win the next election.
In contrast, Theresa May dodged crucial questions, proving she has no answers to the challenges facing Britain. Furthermore, that vague promises from the leader of a government that have reneged on a myriad of promises whilst in power, Bedroom tax, Schools funding, Child poverty and the ever increasing need for Food banks, not to speak of the NHS, simply cannot be trusted.
It showed the clear choice on offer in this election: Labour's plan to transform Britain for the majority of citizens, and a Conservative Party that has held people back and puts the wealthy first.
That is why it is crucial to go out and vote for Caroline Fife, our Labour candidate on June 8th.
